Is my data private?
Yes. In this version everything is stored only on your device — there's no account, and the app sends nothing to any server, collects nothing, and shares nothing off your device. If you want device-loss protection, an optional Automatic backup (off by default) can back your data up to your own Google Drive — we can't see it.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no login — just open the app and start.
What does it cost?
Genie's Wishlists is free for personal use. No ads, no subscriptions, no "premium" nagging.
What's coming next?
A future Pro version will let you store your data remotely to sync across your own devices, and share lists seamlessly with friends and family who also use the app. Those features will be optional — the current version is, and will remain, fully on-device.
How do reminders work?
Optional occasion reminders are scheduled locally by your device — no server is involved.
What if I switch phones?
Use Export to save a backup file, then Import it on your new device — or turn on the optional Automatic backup beforehand and restore during phone setup.
